I am Elizabeth
B. Reveley. I
was born on the East Coast and received my BA in Fine
Arts from Bennington College in Vermont. My deep
love of and appreciation for the outdoors and my longing
for more warmth combined with my entrepreneurial spirit
guided me from the Caribbean and Maine in the 1970s to
Hawaii in 1981. Having already learned massage
therapy in Maine, when I moved to Hawaii, I
became licensed and opened Massage Professionals, the
first full service clinic on the Windward side of Oahu,
and the Aloha Institute of Massage and Healing Arts, a
massage therapy and energy medicine institute, licensed
by the Hawaii Department of Education. I co-founded the
Hawaii chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association
(AMTA) and held the offices of President and Education
Director for many years. A career unfolded.
In 1983, my daughter, Nohea, was born along with
my increased awareness of my need for community. I enjoy my role
as the bridge, introducing massage therapy to all elements
of our community, starting a sports massage team, an on-site
seated massage program for businesses, and integrating professional
massage therapy with allopathic, naturopathic, and chiropractic
healing modalities, and in this process creating jobs for AIMHA
graduates. AIMHA became the stage from which we previewed masters
from all over the world offering ancient and original techniques
to align and guide the body-mind-spirit. I will always be
grateful for these exceptional teachers and extraordinary moments
of sharing. Integration and partnership are hallmarks of my practice.
By 1990 I indulged in a sabbatical and took time out to rewrite the
training manuals for AIMHA (massage school). I clarified my
philosophy of education and "healing", only to realize
there is nothing to heal. We are whole just the way we are. Rather
than fixing something, I sensed we most need to relax and remember.
My greatest awakening was to reacquaint myself with my emotional
body. This integration of our emotional body is one of the
first and most essential steps in our progress along the path to
regeneration.
Studying with masters in China and South East Asia offered me new
techniques for integration and regeneration. My gift has been to
understand the essential elements, to glean the wisdom, and
share this with many more people.
My "work" has changed to "sharing". My
sharing grows out of my personal practice which manifests as Evolutionary
Medicine: supporting doctors and hospitals as they integrate complementary
medicine into their practices and all of you as you take responsibility
for your health and happiness. As a Regenerative Lifestyle Coach, I
assist clients to systematically and compassionately take action
on the next step in living their Life Purpose. I teach Radical Self
Care and Self Love. We unserstand that Pleasure Heals. My purpose
is to facilitate the Regeneration of the Individual and Society and
ground this new group archetype of professionals. We are the
new paradigm.
